The WebShop is operated by Blade Science s.r.o. (“Blade Science”). Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Blade Science.

Blade Science’s products can be ordered at www.blade.science or through our customer service (via email or social media). To place an order, customers are required to provide their full name, shipping/invoice address, product description and select a payment method. A binding agreement for the purchase of products is concluded when you place an order via our webshop or customer service and receive a confirmation email (within 24 hours, Monday to Friday) at the email address you have provided. By placing an order, you accept these Terms and Conditions. Blade Science will only sell products to customers below the age of 18 with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. The order will be shipped once we receive full payment. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.
Prices in the webShop are displayed in both USD and EUR. You can select your preferred currency option during the checkout process.
Costs for shipping will be displayed during checkout.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Online payment with MasterCard, Visa, America Express, Google Pay and Apple Pay
- Bank transfer (wire transfer)
An invoice with Online payment link or Bank transfer details will be sent to the email you provided at the checkout page. Once the payment is processed, we expedite your order promptly (except for preorders).
There is no charge for payment with credit or debit card. All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation and authorization by both the card issuer and us to maintain security and to prevent fraud. When choosing payment with an invoice, you must be 18 years old at the time of ordering. Any delay or non-payment will be charged a delayed payment penalty interest of 2.5% per month.
To make card purchases with us as secure as possible, all information is sent in encrypted form using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This means that the information is passed through a secure connection, and your card details cannot be read by external parties.
All customers paying by card are subject to validation checks. Blade Science reserves the right to delay any order if fraud is suspected. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.
The Webshop ships worldwide, with specific conditions for non-EU countries. Deliveries are dispatched Monday to Friday, except on Czech Republic holidays.
Once payment is received, we expedite your order promptly (except for preorders). Once it leaves our warehouse, you'll receive a shipping confirmation containing a tracking number.
Please note that our carriers cannot deliver to PO or APO boxes. Entering such addresses will cause delivery delays or suspensions.
Orders placed at blade.science or through our customer service are processed only when all ordered products are in stock. Unclaimed packages within 14 days from arrival will be returned to Blade Science, incurring a fee of 1,000 CZK (approximately 50 USD) to cover administrative, shipping, and handling costs. Such shipments are not subject to a legal right for return. If you wish to reship your package, shipping costs will apply.
The destination country determines whether VAT (value-added tax) is applicable. Local charges, such as customs duties or sales taxes, may apply upon delivery/import, depending on your region. These fees are your responsibility, and Blade Science accepts no responsibility for such charges. Contact the customs office in your destination country for details. Orders sent within the EU incur no duties or import taxes.
We typically ship via FedEx, occasionally using other national or private carriers from our warehouse in Czech Republic. Typically, delivery takes 4 to 8 business days, varying by the shipping address. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or cellphone.

You have 14 days from the day you receive an item to return it (only for items purchased from blade.science webshop). You'll receive a full refund, excluding shipping charges, typically within 7 business days of us receiving the item. Once processed, we'll notify you via email. Refunds are credited to the original purchaser's credit card or the bank account used for payment. Return shipment costs are the customer's responsibility.
Items returned must be in perfect condition: new, unused, complete in the original packaging, and with all labels intact. The original packaging must also be included. We do not accept returns for used, soiled, or otherwise damaged items. All returns should be processed through Blade.Science customer service contact page or via email at email@example.com, ensuring proper fulfillment.
Blade.science is not liable for products damaged or lost during shipping. If your order arrives damaged, contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. We take great care to ensure products are shipped in perfect condition. In the event of a damaged or defective item, contact our customer service support, and we'll assist you. Claims must be made immediately upon discovering the defect. Ensure you retain all packaging materials and damaged goods when filing a claim.
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
1. Send us a return request via our contact page or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. Blade Science will verify the accuracy of all information provided for the return. Once the return is confirmed, we will provide you with detailed return and shipping instructions.
3. Once your return arrives at our warehouse (processing takes approximately 7 business days), we'll refund the full product value, excluding shipping fees, to the original payment method.
For inquiries regarding returns, please contact Blade.Science customer service via our contact page or email us at email@example.com. Return shipment costs are the customer's responsibility, we do not accept free returns (such as for orders with incorrect blade-runner sizes or shock-absorber stiffness selected by the customer). We only accept returns via couriers with tracking capabilities, like UPS and FedEx. In certain cases, and depending on availability, size exchanges may be possible.
Blade Science warranties the quality of figure blades (frame, blade-runner, pins) for 12 months from the purchase date against material or workmanship defects under normal use and care. Shock-absorbers are warranted for 6 months from the original purchase date for defects in material and workmanship, under normal and intended use.
Defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion within a reasonable time frame. Repaired or replacement products carry a one-year guarantee from the original purchase date. This warranty does not diminish your rights under mandatory law.
For any products appearing defective, promptly return them to Blade Science with the original sales slip (invoice) indicating the purchase date and a description of the claimed defect. Blade Science is not responsible for lost profits, business, or other consequential damages or costs resulting from the above. This warranty excludes product failures due to improper fit, mounting, accidents, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, as determined by Blade Science s.r.o. We are not liable for repairs, replacements, or consequential damages arising from the mentioned causes.
For claimed defective products, Blade Science does not cover inbound shipping, insurance or transportation charges, import fees, duties, or taxes.
Blade Science makes every effort to create custom blade profiles that closely resemble popular models. Our custom profiles are personalized creations tailored to your needs. While these profiles share key characteristics and performance attributes with the reference models, they may not be exact duplicates.
Blade Science is exempt from performing any obligations under these terms and conditions in cases where performance is prevented, restricted, or interfered with for reasons beyond our reasonable control, such as fire, flood, earthquake, pandemic, explosion, strike, or other unforeseeable accidents ("Force Majeure").
By providing your personal details (such as name, delivery address, IP address, email address, etc.), you consent to us using the collected data to fulfill our commitments to you and provide expected services. This includes order processing, delivery status text notifications, account management through credit checks, sending information about new services, newsletters, or marketing offers that may interest you, and notifications of changes or enhancements to our services via email, telephone, or mail from Blade Science, Blade Science-affiliated companies, or partner companies.
Your data may be used to monitor website traffic for site design and layout improvement. In the event of delivery issues, we will use your information to contact you. Outside of the purposes mentioned, we do not share, sell, or exchange your data with third parties for marketing unrelated to Blade Science. Data shared with third parties serves Blade Science's commitments to you, such as providing address data to suppliers and shipping agents for deliveries.
Your data is securely stored in compliance with applicable laws for the duration of our contractual relationship between us, and it will be deleted afterwards, for example once the warranty for the purchased product expires. You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you (please contact us through the Blade.Science customer service contact page or via email at email@example.com). If your data is incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant, you can request correction or deletion. You can also withdraw your consent for us to use your personal data for marketing purposes, such as sending catalogs, newsletters, or offers, at any time.
To ensure secure card purchases, all information is transmitted in encrypted form using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This guarantees that your card details remain unreadable by external parties. Customers paying by card are subject to validation checks. Blade Science reserves the right to delay orders suspected of fraud. For security reasons, we do not store payment information in our database.
Certain sections of the site utilize "cookies" to track your visit and aid navigation between sections. A cookie is a small data file stored on your computer’s hard drive when you visit certain websites. It can contain information like your user ID and visited pages.
Blade Science has diligently provided accurate information on the website. However, information, texts, images, graphics, and other materials may contain errors, be incomplete, or incorrect. In such cases, we cannot be held responsible for resulting damages unless they are due to our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
While preserving your consumer rights under your country's laws, these terms and conditions, along with disputes or claims arising from using the website or shopping in the WebShop, are subject to Czech Republic law. Any disputes, controversies, or claims related to these terms and conditions, or their breach or invalidity, shall be resolved by Czech courts.
We want you to be satisfied with Blade Science. To expedite the resolution of your complaint, we have established an internal process dedicated to promptly addressing our customers' concerns. To initiate the complaint resolution process, please contact us through the Blade.Science contact page or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our customer helpline is available from Monday to Friday.
If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction through our internal process, you have the option to seek out-of-court dispute resolution. In such cases, as a consumer (not a company), you can contact an alternative dispute resolution entity, such as the Czech Trade Inspection Authority. Additionally, you can resolve the dispute online through a dedicated ODR platform.
